I recommended purchasing shares of backup generator manufacturer Generac Holdings (GNRC) on 4/18/24. The trade went live at $131. Our target price was $140. With the onset of a multi-day weather event across the Midwest and the South, as expected, the stock has moved decidedly higher, and it’s time to take our gains and wait for another opportunity to enter the stock.
As I write, the stock is trading at $141.75. Based on this price, the gain for the trade is $1075/100 shares (8.2%)
The stock is under accumulation and could certainly go higher. Both the ADI and OBV lines are rising. Still, we’ve hit our target price, thus it’s time to take our paycheck.
I’ll have a new trade on Monday.
